Mask found in the north west of the Democratic Republic of the Congo at the border with the Gabon.Mask still called ekuk which means forest spirit. Mask with horns which means the antelope. The white caolin on the face and the horns symbolizes the mask that was used to go to the forest to hunt game that was brought back to the village. His meat was cooked with tree barks to celebrate very great ceremonies of healings. Mask of antelope.
Masque trouvé dans le nord-ouest de la République démocratique du Congo à la frontière avec le Gabon. Masque encore appelé ekuk qui signifie esprit forestier. Masque à cornes qui signifie l'Antilope. Le caolin blanc sur le visage et les cornes symbolisent un masque utilisé pour se rendre dans la forêt afin de chasser le gibier pour le ramener au village. Sa viande était cuite avec des écorces d'arbres pour célébrer de très grandes cérémonies de guérisons. Masque d'Antilope.
